Japanese Biodiversity Youth Ambassador
Summary
Changemaker for the future Biodiversity
In this project, 30 youth ambassadors who want to take action in their area to protect biodiversity are appointed as ambassadors in various parts of Japan, and they carry out activities rooted in the area for one to one and a half years. Specifically, 2 to 4 people belonging to 6 areas of Hokkaido, Kanto, Chubu, Kinki, Chugoku, and Kyushu region are each divided into 10 teams
Activities of Youth Ambassadors
They decide they’re addressing for a keyword of biodiversity issue in each team, they look back to outcomes and challenges for UNDB and they are considering some systems for the youth activity in the next decade. Surveying outcomes and challenges of the past 10 years through questionnaire and interview, also they’re pushing their effort to consider the youth activity in the next decade.
